    The boards are made using strong light-weight plywood wrapped with birch-maple pre-finish.


    Carpet

    Soft white, fully-bound, claw-friendly, cut pile carpet pads are included to provide comfort and traction.

    CatScapes metal brackets are made of nickel-plated steel.

    The more shelves that are interconnected and the greater the angles, the higher the weight capacity.


    Though optimal to install onto studs where possible, the load capacity ranges from 50 to over 100lbs off-stud.


    Our kits are built for multi-cat use and can handle every burst of energy your cat throws at them.

    The replaceable carpet is attached to the shelves using metal fasteners providing your cats a surface they can rely on.

    Shipping


    Products ship within the contiguous United States, usually via UPS Ground.


    Contact CatScapes for specific pricing and arrangements if you would like your CatScapes products shipped beyond the contiguous United States.


    Customer phone numbers are requested to assist in the delivery process.


    Customers are provided tracking numbers as soon as we ship your product. 


    Complete kits ship within 3 weeks of receiving your order.


    If purchased by themselves, brackets ship within one week of receiving your order.


    Custom finishes and carpet colors may require an additional 2 weeks. 


    Once delivered to the address provided by the customer, CatScapes products are 100% the responsibility of the recipient. 


    You have the option of adding "signature required", but this will require that you are physically present to receive and sign for the package/s. If you select the signature required option, UPS will return packages to our warehouse after making two delivery attempts.

    Kits may be refunded prior to installation minus a 25% restocking fee plus all shipping expenses.

    Installed, the shelves are 9.75" deep and 1” thick, including the carpet layer. 


    The kit consists of:

    • 7 shelves in varied lengths

    • 8 precision-engineered hinge-brackets


    The individual shelf lengths are:

    • 1 x 12"

    • 1 x 16"

    • 1 x 20"

    • 2 x 26" with 10"x6" openings

    • 1 x 32"

    • 1 x 36"


    Do I need to order more brackets?


    Each CatScapes kit comes with the brackets for the configuration shown in the description.


    If dividing one kit into two or more separate configurations, you will need an additional end-bracket for each configuration after the first one.


    If you're unsure whether you need to order additional brackets    reach out to CatScapes   for guidance.

    CatScapes is intended for standard drywall. 


    If you're renovating or building new, adding a layer of plywood behind the drywall is ideal. It reinforces the entire wall, making installation even more solid.


    Plaster and lath walls are not suitable.


    How to Install


    Any handyperson will be able to install CatScapes Cat Shelves with ease. 


    It is a one-person job that doesn't even require a ruler.


    Once the wall-plates are installed, all of the components, including the carpet pads, assemble, disassemble, re-assemble, and replace with the two Allen keys that come with the brackets for easy cleaning, refreshing, and updating.

  • What surface can I attach the shelves to?

    CatScapes is intended for standard drywall. 


    If you're renovating or building new, adding a layer of plywood behind the drywall is ideal. It reinforces the entire wall, making installation even more solid.


    Plaster and lath walls are not suitable.

  • What tools will I need for installation?

    Installation and assembly is executed using the two ordinary Allen keys that come with CatScapes brackets and a power drill. A leveler will come in handy if wanting to position a shelf level. And that's it!


    During installation, you'll want to measure-out blue painters tape in the quantities and lengths of the shelves you plan to order.


    And that's it!

  • Can they be used outdoors?

    CatScapes Cat Shelves are intended for indoor use exclusively.

  • How do I keep them clean?

    Carpet pads should be vacuumed, as ordinary carpet would be. For stains, obtain carpet cleaner and follow instructions (e.g. clean with a light circular motion rather than scrubbing).

  • What additional customization options are available?

    Custom colors and finishes for all of the components except for the nickel-plated brackets are available for an additional charge. Reach out to Catscapes for more information.
